Bartenders Needed – Buena Park
Knott’s Scary Farm has a variety of job opportunities in our Food Service Division. Positions available include counter service clerks, bussers, fry cooks, full bartenders and beer-only bartenders. This is a chance to make new friends and some extra cash. These positions are to support our upcoming Halloween Haunt event and require evening availability. Experience is required for full bartenders and cooks.
BARTENDERS:
This position is primarily responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests of the bar. This position is also responsible for following standard drink recipes and the company’s alcoholic beverage control policies. Our bartenders attend to guests, making them feel welcome.
All applicants must have prior restaurant experience in a full service bar. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
COOKS:
To produce quality food to Knott’s Berry Farm standards. Able to keep kitchen clean and sanitized. Adhere to all Orange County health department rules and regulations. To make sure all kitchen product is rotated using first in first out method. Able to keep up with orders as they come in.
At least one (1) year cooking experience. Able to adhere to all Orange County health department codes. Some training in food handling a plus. Able to work in a warm environment for at least 3 hours at a time. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment when needed
COUNTER SERVICE CLERKS:
The primary responsibility of a Counter Service Clerk is to assist the guest in making food purchases. This includes helping the guest decide what type of food they would like, taking the guest’s order, ringing the sale on a cash register, accepting payment from the guest, and giving the guest their food order. Other responsibilities include preparing cooked foods to fill orders; packing food to go; and maintaining a clean, sanitary environment by cleaning the work area and washing dishes as needed
We are looking for outgoing friendly individuals who are willing to deliver superior guest service. Full evening availability is required. You must be able to comply with Knott’s costuming and grooming standards. Experience is not required for most jobs.
