Miyabi Shabu Shabu and Grill is a new Japanese restaurant located in Irvine. The restaurant will be opening for full service in a week and we are looking for great candidates to join our team! You will need to have a commitment to the highest standards of food and service and be able to work with a growing team of professionals.
Currently we have all positions open.

Our servers will provide our guests with a refined yet friendly experience. Primary responsibilities will be mastering the food and beverage offerings, serving guests, completing opening/running/closing side duties, and performing POS/cashiering functions. Other duties as a member of the team will be performed as needed.
- Part time or Full time position available
- 2 years of previous serving experience required
- California food handler certification
- Must be knowledgeable of cafe and service techniques
- Work well under pressure and have a positive attitude
- Bilingual Japanese and English

Bartender:
We are looking for a bartender with Japanese sake and shochu experience. Must have a friendly attitude and attention to detail. Must be a team player and not afraid to approach guests and engage in conversation. Willing to clean and maintain a neat and orderly bar.
- 3 years of previous barista experience.
- California Food Handler certification
- Must be knowledgeable of service techniques
- Work well under pressure and have a positive attitude

Runner/Expeditor Requirements:
•A minimum of 1 year experience as a runner/expeditor in a fast paced establishment.
•Ability to work in a fast paced restaurant environment..
•Clean work habits and attention to detail.
•Ability to multitask and remain in control in a fast-paced demanding environment.
•Ability to manage all food coming out of the kitchen.
•Professional, polished appearance with the ability to interact with all types of team members.
•Must have excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
•Must be able to lift 25 pounds
•Must be available for night and weekends at least 4 shifts a week

Busser Requirements:
•A minimum of 1 year experience as a busser in a high volume establishment.
•Ability to work in a fast paced restaurant environment..

•Ability to multitask and remain in control in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
•Ability to think quickly on your feet, taking things in stride and executing with poise.

DoubleTree Irvine Spectrum Bartender to Server at 90 Pacifica Restaurant

Serves beverages and food to guests in the hotel. Ensures the proper and adequate set-up of bars. Stocks beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce based on projections from the daily functions. Maintains stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality. Greets guests. Mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control. Checks guests for proper identification, manages method of payment, and serves alcohol according to State, Federal and corporate liquor regulations.

Looking for a team player who is an outgoing, energetic, guest oriented individual with a bright smile. Good multi- tasking and organizational skills are a must. start time could be as early as 2pm and can be open as late as 2am. Must be available to work holidays and weekends.

2 years strong high volume bartending experience preferred
TIPS, CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
