POSITION PURPOSE:
Prepare and service beverages for servers and guests in a quick, efficient and friendly and professional manner. Ensure that guests are served in accordance to State and local guidelines regarding the service of alcohol.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:
Maintaining a clean bar area, processing payments, and taking inventory of the bar.
Setting and clearing tables to specific standards in a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional manner.
Completing various other side duties assigned by the Supervisor, and maintaining proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
Listen and respond to inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
The ability to greet each guest promptly, courtesy, graciously with eye contact a smile and good posture.
The ability to ascertain a guest’s satisfaction and handle any problems which may arise and informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.
The ability to report any accident immediately, no matter how minor, to a Manager.
The ability to respond properly in any location emergency or safety situation.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the organization. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:
Education:
• High school or equivalent education preferred.
Experience Required:
• 1-2 years of relevant experience required (previous upscale restaurant bar service experience preferred)
• Compensation: $10.00/hr Plus Tips!!!!
