New Bartending TV Show Coming to FLN

FLN, the Fine Living Network that brought you other Drinking Reality Shows such as “Three Sheets” and “The Thirsty Traveler” bring a new Bartending Themed Show to the air called “Bartender Wars”. In FLN’s own words:

If you’ve ever found that perfect seat at the bar for an after-work drink, or just to escape from the world, the last thing you expect is to be an unknowing participant in a contest between bartenders. As the night rolls on, our bartenders challenge each other to contests to see who makes the best drink as judges by the bar’s patrons or who’s the best matchmaker of the night or who can get their customers to pay for a completely made-up drink. Gear up for Bartender Wars, an undercover battle of the bartenders with a shot of liquid courage thrown in.

1.9 million jobs were lost in the US in 2008 – However employment in the Restaurant Industry outpaced the overall economy for the ninth consecutive year and the industry is expected to add an additional 1.8 million new jobs over the next 10 years. When in comes to job security, Bartending is about as secure as it gets!

The Women’s Christian Temperance Union, which had been promoting Prohibition for many years, believed alcohol was the cause of many, if not all, social ills. Mistruths like this were spread.
